Good morning, and welcome back to 100 Days of Blogging. Today’s question comes to us from the Life Category and the card asks, “What’s your happiest memory from your childhood?”
For me, it would be a series of memories because I don’t have a single one, and each series involves a different parent.
The first one I’ll talk about is my Dad. Throughout my childhood he was the coach of my t-ball teams, and was at every single one of my sporting events when I made the team in school. He also went on every single overnight field trip I went on until high school. Having him around for all of that was some of the best memories I have of my childhood.
From my Mom, it’s less about specific things she did and more about everything she did for me. She went from a job that she absolutely loved to one that she still loved, but not like the one she had because she wanted to spend more time with my brother and I. Additionally, she has always been available for me and loving. Her cooking and her care have always been the best parts of my life.
So for me, it’s less about one childhood memory, and more the series of memories with my parents.
