Good morning, and welcome back to 100 Days of Blogging. Today’s question comes to us from the Self-Reflection category and the card asks, “When was the last time you left your comfort zone – how did you grow?”
Well, for me that would be when I applied and was accepted to law school. I had spent a year away from by that point and it was a big change from my previous types of schooling.
However, I think that I had some of my biggest growth in law school. I was exposed to a variety of different viewpoints and people from more backgrounds than I had been exposed to since I was in community college. (I had a tendency to go to very white, somewhat affluent schools prior and after my time at community college.)
The exposure I had to different viewpoints helped me develop my own viewpoints better and come to my own conclusions about things. So that’s how I grew through the last time I left my comfort zone.
