Day 66 of 100 Days of Blogging, Describe an Event When Most People Were Good

Hello, and welcome back to 100 Days of Blogging. Today’s topic comes to us from the World category and the card says, “Most people are good. Describe an event when this was true.”

I’m going to assume that this is talking about a real event and not for me to make up something whole cloth. So in that regard I’m going to say that an example of when people were good would be during the recent hurricane seasons in the United States.

Now, mind you, the Federal Government’s response to it was absolutely abysmal and an international embarrassment, but the citizenry of the United States pulled together to support the places that were affected. You say Chef Jose Andres organizing chefs to make food for those whose homes were destroyed or had no power. People throughout the United States donated to support the recovery of Puerto Rico and pushed the Federal Government to improve its response.

So there we grow, one instance where most people are good.
