Good morning, and welcome back to 100 Days of Blogging. Today’s topic comes to us from the Life Category and the card says “What decisions should you have made yesterday?”
Which is an interesting question to me, because how can we know if a decisions that we didn’t make just a day ago was one that we should have made? There are very few times in my opinion where a decision should have been made yesterday where that same decision shouldn’t have been made some days previous.
The thing is is that human beings as a whole aren’t that great when it comes to seeing cause and effect. We often look at things that we think have caused something, and it turns out that there are a lot of different reasons that the thing happened. It is rare that there is a single cause that can explain why something either happens or doesn’t happen.
We as humans don’t like to have unexplained actions left unexplained, just look at all the various cryptids and other conspiracy theories. We want there to be some sort of reason that something happens, especially when we don’t have a good story to back it up.
So while I may have taken a different tack then this prompt initially meant, I think there were some good points to be made.
