Day 12 of 100 Days of Blogging, If I Could Solve One Big World Problem, What Would it Be?

Welcome back to 100 Days of Blogging. Today’s topic comes to us from the World category again, and the card says “If you could solve one big world problem what would that be?” Well, it says one big world problem so if we’re going to go big we might as well go all out.

The big problem I would solve is inequality of all types. If there is no more racism, sexism, or wealth inequality, the world would be a much better place. The economy would be one where people did not have to work to survive because we would all be taken care of. Global Climate Change would finally be worked on because people no longer would be thinking about “how to get theirs and screw everyone else” if we no longer were unequal in the amount of money that we had. People would be healthier as well, as wealth wouldn’t factor into whether or not you can go to the doctor.

Without sexism, there would be further gains. In health, doctors would actually take women’s health issues seriously, different industries and careers wouldn’t be downgraded because of the gender make up of the workers. Additionally, there would be less domestic violence if we didn’t have inequality of the genders.

Without racism, we would solve the issue of police brutality because police would do their duty the same no matter the color of someone’s skin. Health outcomes would get better for similar reasons as above with women’s health issues because doctors would take those issues seriously.

So there you have it, off the cuff the big world problem that I would solve and the knock on effects that that problem being solved would fix.
